Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Outfished for use of the Outfished app and outfished.app. By using them you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You must be at least 13 to use Outfished (or older if your country requires it). Keep your sign-in secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account. One person per account.

Fish honest

Leaderboards only work if the numbers are real. Don’t submit catches that aren’t yours, edited or staged photos, misstated sizes, or another angler’s fish. We verify catches automatically and may mark a catch rejected, remove it from boards, revoke awards or suspend accounts that cheat. Our decision on verification and awards is final.

Follow the law on the water

You’re responsible for following fishing licence, season, size and bag limits, and access rules where you fish. Outfished does not tell you what’s legal to keep. Never put yourself in danger for a photo.

Your content

You own your photos and catch data. You give Outfished a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and process them to run the service, and, for content you make public, to show it on leaderboards, award pages, share cards and outfished.app. You can make content private or delete it at any time; this ends the licence for future use, except for copies already shared by you.

Don’t post anything illegal, hateful, sexual, violent, harassing, or that infringes someone else’s rights, and don’t post other people’s personal information. Use Report and Block when you see a problem. Content with three open reports is hidden until we review it.

Premium

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Free trials convert to paid unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Manage or cancel in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Sponsored awards and challenges

Some monthly awards or challenges may be sponsored. Any prize terms will be posted with the award. No purchase is necessary to compete.

Things you can’t do

• Scrape, copy or resell Outfished data or leaderboards.
• Reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the service, or use bots to log or verify catches.
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation.

Ending things

You can stop using Outfished and delete your account any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers

Outfished is provided “as is”. Weather, tide and conditions data come from third parties and may be wrong; don’t rely on them for safety decisions. To the extent the law allows, Outfished isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
